Picking a good private school is a very important step in the educational trajectory of your child, but it can also be a very stressful time for you. It can be difficult to compare private schools particularly when early childhood care is something so important in the life of your child that spending the time is more than worth it.

The welfare and reform movements of the 19th century sparked the beginning of the day care movement as children were no longer expected to work fields and in factories. The ideas about childhood were also beginning to change at this time. Ideas about the typical childhood were by no means the same then as they are today.

The Federal Government sponsored day care activities for close to a half a million preschool children during World War II. This was largely due to women picking up the slack in the work force while men were away fighting in the war. With jobs to be done and children to be looked after, a solution had to be come to.

Child care facilities like day cares and preschools help the personal, social, economic, and emotional development in your child is more ways than can be quantified. Finding a daycare that has the ability to provide growth in all these areas is paramount to the future of your child.

Studies have shown that children who have the chance to participate in early child care and education programs grow up to be healthier and and more financially successful than their peers who did not have the same opportunities.

Students who have the access to private school curriculum, on average, have higher rates of graduation and acceptance into college than those who do not have the same educational background.
